ESTIEM is the organisation for European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, who combine technological understanding with management skills.Our goal is to establish and foster relations between students across Europe and to support them in their personal and professional development. Our network consists of 66 Local Groups in 25 countries, reaching out to 50 000 students.
What is Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM)?
The focus of IEM studies lies in providing students valuable engineering knowledge as well as practical management experience. IEM integrates technological knowledge and management skills, helping students to cope with competitive business challenges while comprehending the underlying technology. Throughout Europe, IEM has many different names – and many different faces.
The ESTIEM network
Founded back in 1990, ESTIEM was established to connect IEM students all over Europe and provide them a unique platform. Nowadays ESTIEM is astrong network represented by 66 Local Groups from Ankara to Zurich. All these independently-functioning local student associations organise Europe-wide and local activities, and represent ESTIEM in their universities.

Our activities
IEM has many different faces and so does ESTIEM. Besides the work in our Committees, Projects and Initiatives, our core activity is organising over 80 events every year. We offer several types of events with various focus.
